- About the role:
The Accounting Advisory Services, Manager will support IFRS accounting and reporting guidance to Takeda’s businesses and enabling functions across multiple areas, including business development support. Role will also support Takeda global accounting policies, implementation of new accounting standards, financial reporting and audit process, valuation / impairment assessments and other special projects.
How you will contribute:
1.Supporting research and analysis for global accounting and policy support for Regional and Business Unit finance partners and other functions
2.Supporting global accounting policies and developing adequate training throughout organization to ensure consistent policy application
3.Maintaining streamlined processes throughout organization to provide adequate oversight of key accounting judgments and ensure consistent policy application
4.Supporting efforts to implement new accounting standards
5.Providing assistance to auditors on accounting and reporting issues
6.Other special projects (i.e. valuations for business acquisitions, divestiture accounting matters, etc.)

- Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
1. BA/BS Degree
2. CPA (or equivalent)
3. Minimum of 5 - 8 years accounting/finance experience
4. Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to persuasively convey critical elements of complex issues
5. Experience identifying and implementing process improvements affecting other stakeholders
6. Experience working with all levels and disciplines of people within a large organization
7. Strong ability to analyze and understand large amounts of data
8. Excellent systems skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience of involving in Pharmaceutical Industry under IFRS
2. System skill (SAP)

7. Self-starter with the ability to lead strategic cross-functional initiatives.
8. Highly energetic, creative and enthusiastic. This individual will be involved in cross-functional teams supporting Corporate and Departmental business initiatives. This will require the ability to generate ideas, engage in effective discussion and analysis and collaborate with fellow employees from other functional areas and at all levels of responsibility.

1. Involving significant judgment affecting the financial statements
2. Involving determination of effective and efficient internal control structure
3. Involving determination of effective and efficient processes and integration of multiple related processes into single processes
4. Involving how to be highly effective in communicating to others to gain the most benefit from that communication
5. Ability to understand complex processes and break those down into the simplest elements
6. Discussion with the partners on issues which have a significant impact on the financial statements
